This service can only be provided to couples who have already received approval from the Agency of Family Law (Familieretshuset) and hold a valid, unused booking link.
3.1 Ceremony dates at Danish municipalities are released online at irregular times, frequently during the night, and are commonly taken within seconds by other couples, agencies and services competing for the same slots.
3.2 Denmark Wedding Services will monitor the municipality's online booking system continuously on your behalf, using the booking link you provide, and will reserve a ceremony date the moment one becomes available.
3.3 This service covers the reservation of a ceremony date only. It does not include document preparation, translation, apostille, or attendance, which are offered separately.
4.1 You instruct Denmark Wedding Services to reserve the first ceremony date that becomes available at the municipality named in §2, whatever that date may be.
4.2 You will not be contacted for approval before the booking is made. Available dates disappear within seconds. There is no opportunity to consult you, and any attempt to do so would result in the date being lost to another party.
4.3 You accept any date, any weekday and any time of day within the municipality's ceremony hours, including dates that may fall only a short time from now, and dates that may fall many months ahead.
4.4 You confirm that you are able and willing to travel to the municipality named in §2 on the date reserved, and that you have no restrictions preventing you from doing so.
4.5 Once a date has been reserved, this service is complete. Changing the date afterwards is not part of this service and is subject to availability, which cannot be guaranteed.
5.1 Denmark Wedding Services does not guarantee that a ceremony date will be secured. This service is an attempt made with best effort, not a promised outcome.
5.2 The release of ceremony dates is controlled entirely by the Danish municipality. Denmark Wedding Services has no influence over whether, when, or how many dates are released, and a municipality may release none at all during the period of this agreement.
5.3 Other couples, agencies and automated services compete for the same dates. A date may be taken by another party in the same moment it appears.
5.4 A municipality may alter, restrict or withdraw its online booking system at any time and without notice, which may end this service before a date is secured.
6.1 The service fee is a fixed € 499.00, due in full upon signing this agreement.
6.2 The service begins as soon as payment has been received and a valid booking link has been supplied, and cannot be paused, suspended or reversed thereafter.
6.3 The fee is earned in full at the moment a ceremony date is reserved, however quickly this occurs. A date secured on the first night is the intended outcome of this service and is not grounds for any reduction.
6.4 If no ceremony date is secured before this agreement ends under §7, € 249.50 — being 50 % of the fee — will be refunded. The remaining 50 % is retained as compensation for the preparation, monitoring and technical work carried out on your behalf, which is performed whether or not a date is released by the municipality. No further compensation of any kind is payable.
6.5 No refund whatsoever is payable where the attempt fails for a reason within your control or is rendered unnecessary by your own actions, including any of the circumstances set out in §8.
7.1 The service begins on the first night following receipt of payment and a valid booking link, and continues until the earliest of the following:
a. a ceremony date is successfully reserved;
b. your booking link or approval expires, as stated in §2;
c. you instruct us in writing to stop;
d. the municipality withdraws or replaces its online booking system.
7.2 You will be informed as soon as a date has been reserved, and in any case within one working day.
8.1 You must provide a booking link that is valid and has not already been used. A link that has been used, expired or revoked cannot be worked with, and no refund is payable where this is discovered after the service has begun.
8.2 While this agreement is in force you must not attempt to reserve a ceremony date yourself, and must not instruct or permit any other person, agency or service to do so on your behalf.
8.3 If a ceremony date is reserved by you or by any other party while this agreement is in force, the service shall be deemed fully performed and the full fee of € 499.00 is retained. The purpose of this service is to obtain a ceremony date; once one exists, the service can no longer be delivered, and the preparation and monitoring already carried out cannot be recovered. No refund is payable in these circumstances.
8.4 You must inform Denmark Wedding Services immediately if a date is secured by any means, or if your approval is withdrawn or expires.
8.5 You confirm that the booking link belongs to you, that you are entitled to authorise its use, and that both partners consent to this agreement.
9.1 This service is of no use if delayed. Ceremony dates are released unpredictably and are taken within seconds; any waiting period would mean every date released in the meantime is lost to another party. You therefore instruct Denmark Wedding Services to begin without delay.
9.2 By law, a consumer's right to withdraw from a distance contract ends once the service has been fully performed, where the consumer expressly requested immediate commencement and was informed of this consequence. Reserving your ceremony date constitutes full performance. From that moment there is no right of withdrawal and no refund.
9.3 Should you nevertheless withdraw after the service has begun but before a date has been reserved, you remain liable for the value of the work already carried out. The parties agree this amounts to 50 % of the fee (€ 249.50), being a genuine estimate of the preparation and monitoring performed, and the same proportion applied under §6.4.
9.4 Nothing in this section limits any right you hold under mandatory consumer law.
10.1 Denmark Wedding Services is not liable for the unavailability of ceremony dates, nor for dates taken by other parties.
10.2 Denmark Wedding Services is not liable for costs you incur in reliance on a date, including travel, accommodation and guest arrangements, nor for any consequential loss arising from a date not being secured or from a date later being altered or cancelled by the municipality.
10.3 Denmark Wedding Services is not liable for technical failures outside its control, including changes to the municipality's booking system, network interruptions, or the municipality's own systems being unavailable.
10.4 In case of force majeure, neither party shall be held liable for failure to fulfil obligations.
10.5 Liability for damages is limited to the amount of the service fee paid, save for damages arising from intent or gross negligence, and save for injury to life, body or health, where liability applies as provided by law.
11.1 Your booking link permits a ceremony appointment to be made or cancelled in your name. It is stored securely, used solely to reserve your ceremony date, and is not shared with any third party.
11.2 The booking link and associated records are deleted once a date has been secured or this agreement ends, save where records must be retained to evidence the service performed.
11.3 All personal data is handled in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time.
12.1 This agreement is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
12.2 Any disputes shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. If no resolution is reached, the courts of Düsseldorf, Germany shall have jurisdiction, to the extent permitted by law.
12.3 Should any provision of this agreement be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
By signing below, all parties confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms outlined in this agreement, including the instruction in §4 and the absence of any guarantee in §5.
